Change.org... love it!

Obama is apparently hailing in a real democracy inviting citizens to involve themselves in the discussion and to suggest 'changes' government and the people should make.

One that caught my eye enough to join and help the debate is Go Vegan, go vegan as a family.

I thought you would like to add your 2 cents and vote for this to be considered as a change we could take on!

Hey you soulful musician what do you think of this sound cloud...

http://soundcloud.com/blackwax said he is looking for artists

I imagine I might have a friend or two who might enjoy putting some vocals to music made by this up and coming producer... and no, I'm not talking about myself right now.

He's looking for collaborations. Especially lyricists and vocalists. If you're not catching on by now... *ahem*aki..

There's just something about blackwax's music, like his remix DJ Oji Vs Dr Bob Jones - Soul Underground Blackwax & H&H Unreleased Remix has a feeling to it that is light.

What does your soul look like, pt 2

Eh?

Dj Shadow is speaking to my soul today... just a little bit.

"We are standing here at the edge of time... cold... our road was paved with the edge of time... steel... sparks... come with me now to the edge of time... does anyone remember who i am? ...in a few moments you will have an experience which will seem completely real... it will be the result of your subconscious fears transformed to your conscious awareness... you have 5 seconds to terminate this tape... 5.4.3.2.1. [has everybody got a place to hide? ...is everybody inside?] x2 ...there's a game out there, and the stakes are high, and the guy who runs it figures the averages all day long, and all night... once in a while he let's you steal a pot, but if you stay in the game long enough, you've got to lose, and once you've lost, there's no way back, no way at all... (the time has come) x 3

Can you feel this? What is that buzzing? Are you now, or have you ever, moved slowly?"

"Bobby, whats going on, this doesn't make sense? How does this relate to anything???"

Bah, who needs to make sense? Look, let me march like a soldier for peace. Nobody questions the military act of marching for peace. We all go "yay, thats peaceful". Nobody questions the insanity behind chomping on meat while talking about how horrible a war is. So let me spill a bit of random insanity... I mean look, it works for some of the most popular bloggers on Gaia... I say to "do X" while I do Y.

I found a funny pod description on here the other day that is just FULL to the brim of wide eyed truth ignorers. It read something along the lines of "This is for the real spiritual people, who believe we don't all have to be vegetarians that don't wear leather, who feel the way our ancients lived is attuned to nature" etc etc.

I was like "man, I couldn't agree more... can I join? Finally, somebody who understands that the old is where its at! Bring back the days where we could take our daughters in cave when it got warm without the new age fun police coming in to tell us about 'karma' and 'morals' and 'ethics'. What do these pseudo new age terms mean anyways? Bring back the grunts I say... thats what spirituality is about... stuff this hippy dippy enlightenment catchphrasey crazy stuff where I actually have to do any real personal development... lets just pretend we're onto it by going back in time and living like the apes did. Man, I miss those days when you could just carve up your kids if you got really hungry... I mean thats living with the land and within your means! These vego's and yoga fanatics are just frikken losing it... joy doesn't come from within... it comes from having blood and flesh fibers rotting between the teeth dummy, and surviving."

Ok I actually kept these thoughts to myself because people tell me to keep the ridicule down. Of course, since the majority of people love to live in a comfortable veil they don't like to be confronted so there are these society barriers the masses put up. Like its not ok to say "babe, you are an elephant... lose some weight" because the majority of the populous in that region or obese. Move to japan however where there aren't so many chunky monkeys, and its totally ok. Niche said something about morals the people project as being the weaks way of undermining the truly strong in society.

There's no hatred in me towards fat people though. Just like I don't hate meat eaters. Do I hate lions? No. Dogs? Favourite animals. But if somebody can say "lions eat animals in the wild and sharks eat fish so predation is natural and intruding on another beings life is perfectly fine" well I say "stop eating meat ya warlord". If a lion eating meat in the wild is justification that we have free reign, why can't the same be applied to me slapping a burger out of a fatties mouth? Am I not a natural being? Are my instincts not as valid as a shark? Or did I magically transcend and become an alien?

What intelligent being ever fooled the population of humans into thinking they magically left 'nature'. "Oh look, you stepped over the line... see, over that line is nature, while on this side of the line is ___' What? Alien territory? Non-nature? Cyborg land? Deluded dementor world full of people with their head in an idealistic future with their feet blindly trampling the world below?

We're stupid... and I know I know... stupid isn't very friendly is it. But ignorant really isn't any better is it? Its still offensive. Infact any sort of description that puts me in a better category than you is undermining and arrogant. So whats really the problem? You want me to treat you equally while you don't mind taking the life from creatures you believe are less evolved then you? I'm trying... I really am. But I'm also trying to crack through to you and it seems you'll enjoy living in 'la la' land forever with a bunch of other blood cult members patting each other on the back. I know that I evolved a leap and bound when I stopped eating animals. I could see the contradiction in my desires to live peacefully and the ways I was eating which was violently. It just wasn't possible to plant hatred and magically blossom out with love. So I stopped. You will too I believe. Whether its your health that collapses on you, or its new animal rights laws that come into play, or whether its your higher self screaming to be heard through the pin prick of an opening you have in your awareness... it will happen I am sure of it.

So on this note, I think I've gotten the derogatory outbursts out of my system. I blame it on the meat diet still imprinted on my cellular walls. Seriously, where does your angst come from? Really question how you feel you are living in a cage yourself? Why is your life the way it is? So many people don't have the answers for this. So many people won't admit its because they eat caged animals...  that they are bound to authoritarians because they play authority over creatures on the earth. They would rather give the power to some all powerful politician or secret society who has rules in effect... but thats just the cop out and the fractal of actions on the micro, unfolding to the macro. The reality is we reap what we sow. Eat slaves, you'll become one. Give freedom and life to people, and thats what you will generate. Try freedom on for size... try truly following the words you speak. You won't look back I promise.

Well, thats all for me for now... Bdog... cosmicbdog... one love.. namaste... in'lakesh.

The Power in Compassion

Posted on Jun 22nd, 2008 by cosmicbdog : paradigm changer cosmicbdog
Tao1a
Again, borrowing the words of another friend Lao Tsu interpreted at http://www.cit.gu.edu.au/~davidt/tao/the_power_in_compassion.htm

"All the world thinks that my Tao is great; and yet it seems inconceivable. Only it's greatness makes it seem inconceivable. If it could be conceived of it would have become insignificant long ago."

"I have three Treasures that I support and protect: the first is compassion, the second is moderation, the third is not to be the first in the world."

"With compassion, one becomes courageous. With moderation, one becomes expansive. In daring not to be the first in the world, one becomes the instrument of leadership."

"Now if one is courageous without compassion, or expansive without moderation or first without holding back, one is doomed!"

"Compassion always triumphs when attacked; it brings security when maintained. Nature aids it's leaders, by arming them with compassion."

The three treasures - compassion, moderation and the courage not to be first - are the emotional foundations of Lao Tzu's whole approach. Enduring leaders are those with the most compassion. They are endurin g because compassion is a mysterious intellectual force that allows reality to act on the mind in a deeply affecting way, and in return endows the mind with the power to act on reality. Compassionate leaders are able to make decisions with foresight and vision - this is how they endure and triumph.

Lao Tzu opens this passage with a paradox - the idea that something can be so large, so ever-present and so profound that it becomes inconceivable. He suggests that anything that can be fully conceived of and comprehended by the mind becomes small and manageable. Yet true power does not come from controlling the small and manageable, but from the mind-expanding exercise of conceiving of the inconceivable. (67)

Compassion is a transforming force of nature - through a mysterious process, those who practice compassion transform themselves and in the process transform those around them to be more in harmony with nature. Witness the deeds of Jesus Christ when he healed the sick. These acts of compassio n made such an impression on people that it helped to establish a religion that has endured for two thousand years.

Vivalavida
From the latest Album Viva La Vida this track is speaking some things better than I can at the moment...

Title: Lost!

Just because I'm losing
Doesn't mean I'm lost
Doesn't mean I'll stop
Doesn't mean I will cross

Just because I'm hurting
Doesn't mean I'm hurt
Doesn't mean I didn't get what I deserve
No better and no worse

I just got lost
Every river that I've tried to cross
Every door I ever tried was locked
Ooh-Oh, And I'm just waiting till the shine wears off...

You might be a big fish
In a little pond
Doesn't mean you've won
'Cause along may come
A bigger one
And you'll be lost

Every river that you tried to cross
Every gun you ever held went off
Ooh-Oh, And I'm just waiting till the firing starts
Ooh-Oh, And I'm just waiting till the shine wears off
Ooh-Oh, And I'm just waiting till the shine wears off
Ooh-Oh, And I'm just waiting till the shine wears off…

CosmicBDog with guest speaker Daniel Priestley

Posted on Jun 17th, 2008 by cosmicbdog : paradigm changer cosmicbdog

So I want to bring in some more perceptions into this discussion. This isn't a one way conversation I am having here. In this episode I sit with Daniel Priestley, successful entrepreneur with an array of enterprises under his belt moreso, you can see the shimmer in his eyes when he speaks. An optimist and seeker of solutions and generally willing to see the silver lining on the clouds.

A man who has travelled the globe speaking on the topics of living passionately, solving the poverty crisis, how businesses could work more efficiently, how people can begin to live their dreams and not under a strange idea that they must sacrifice the best years of their life chained to responsibilities they would rather go beyond.... and more. A top bloke, and at just age 27 has sat down and had chats with people of the likes of Roger Hamilton (Founder of Asias largest business network), Sir Richard Branson (does he need an introduction?), Dr John Demartini (author of hundreds of life changing books, renowned world best seller and speaker), Mark Victor Hansen (co-author of chicken soup for the soul)... just to name a few. He's also one of the oldest friends of yours truly.

Yes, he gets around, and when he's not meeting these kinds of people, he is recruiting people to The Hunger Project across the globe, being a strong advocate and personally donating more than $50,000 to this initiative that is aiding the real solutions to problems we are facing in 3rd world countries today. The Hunger Project doesn't just put food in mouths - its teaching impoverished people how to rebuild their communities and generate abundance once again.

Why does any of this introduction matter? Well of course, there is the perception that vegetarians hide from life... they don't live large and they don't have any position in the real world. Daniel busts the mold on this one and is another example of people on veges who are doing some serious ass kicking for the good guys. Enjoy

Disclaimer: Daniel Priestley does not necessarily endorse what I a have to say on these topics and may not share my opinions.

5 key crisis on earth that 1 singular thing is responsible for...

Posted on Jun 8th, 2008 by cosmicbdog : paradigm changer cosmicbdog
There is something humans eat so much of that is unnecessary and is responsible for 90% of the worlds land being negatively transformed from pristine forest, into wasteland. And if global warming doesn't wipe us out from this food item... its the new diseases that are a bi-product of it.

Do you know what it is?

Meat.

It may come as a surprise to know this, but 90% of earths agricultural efforts go towards putting food and water to keeping livestock alive. Did that surprise you? It surprised me.

Here's something that might come as shocking news for you too... or may be hard for you to accept... IF you eat meat, you're about as ecologically minded as a hum-vee truck. You could be riding around on a pushbike, using solar power, offsetting your carbon emissions by planting trees but guess what? If you eat meat, you're leading the parade of destruction on the planet.

Every meal you're chomping on bones, you're saying "I fuck the planet nice and hard, and I don't care, because it tastes good AND I love living in the ignorant bliss and blind stupidity that eating meat is essential and good for me."

Let me ask you something - how good will it be when there is no environment left to enjoy it in? If eating meat was so essential, don't you think it would be environmentally friendly?

Let me bring your attention to 5 major crisis here on planet earth and how eating meat is peaking out at the top of responsible contributing factors to them...

The water crisis

All across the world there is a water shortage. Fresh water supplies are running out. What used to be natural running water ways are now contaminated. Livestock is the primary pollutant of these systems.

We can't just create new water. There is a certain amount that is naturally created on earth. If it is used over on this continent and turned into toxic juice, earth doesn't just pump out new stuff. It goes into stagnation and takes a long time to recover. So the more say, America, eats its diet of meat and turns water into flesh for McMeaties, the less water Africa has.

Could the melting of the ice caps and the snow on Kilimanjaro be earths way of trying to provide some more fresh water for us? Probably. The earth is thirsty so she's tapping into her stored supplies, but hand in hand with the melting of those supplies comes a raising of the sea levels and a nice wiping out of destructive beings in the world.

Check out The 11th Hour at your local cinema or video store.

But if the toxicity of the water systems isn't enough to get your head thinking, think about the inequality of your diet lifestyle choice versus those kids in Africa who are running around a desert trying to find a fresh water supply. While you're having your shower being eco efficient on a timer so you don't waste water, consider the reality that the water that is consumed to feed a cow in order to create just 1 Pound of flesh is equivalent to a whole years worth of showering.

Check out http://www.goveg.com/environment-wastedResources-water.asp for a breakdown of just how much water goes into feeding cows.

The poverty crisis

90% of the world lives in poverty. Lacking the water and resources to do anything about it. The other 10% of the world are not in poverty, and they use about 1000% times the resources they need to in order to live. Is a shift of resources and priorities in order? Duh.

Instead of sending the grains to feed the humans who are starving, we send it to feed livestock. Isn't that intelligent. Personally, I think actions like this make humans the lesser evolved species while animals in the wild are actually more evolved. Does it not make sense that we cancel out our intelligence when the very actions we perform wipe us out? So based on this, shouldn't humans have less right than the apparently less evolved animals? Think about it...

The forest crisis

Do you know that the Amazon rainforest has been mostly pillaged to make way for agriculture to feed cows? Wasn't that a smart move. And thats what happens all around the world. The bulldozers come in, mass clear the land and then the stumps that are left are set on fire. What do you think created all the C02 in the atmosphere? The cars? Nope. Its fires, its the lack of forests keeping the planet cool and its all those trucks driving back and forth back and forth taking grains between the farms and the animal slave fields.

When it rains, an old tree root system can hold something like 50,000 litres of water like a sponge. When these trees are removed, the water doesn't hold in the earth and this is where the massive inland flooding is coming from. Instead of being sucked in, like trees do, it creates these massive landslides, rushes of torrents, and makes a beeline to the ocean destroying most things in the path. Trees do much more than just filter the air we breath, they are home to vital life systems humans rely on AND they are like our defensive barriers against weather. Pull more trees out, the weather will get worse and worse.

The health crisis

A massively growing problem in the health world is Colon Cancer. Why? Humans have a herbivore colon (Check out a breakdown of a human, herbivore and carnivore for the facts) while attempting a carnivore diet. Its not hard to work out why. Speaking to a colonic specialist they will tell you that the average meat eater has rotting corpse in the colon 6 months old. Parasites... worms... there's an army in there. A carnivore doesn't experience this problem passes the meat within days.

But if that doesn't ring some alarm bells, lets introduce the new friend of ours on the top of food chain. Humans are no longer there. Say hi to the new Super Diseases we created. Alzheimer's... Mad Cow Disease.. just to name a couple who have only been on the planet in the last 50 years.

So, how did it happen? Why has humanities health gone down the shitter? Some say its microwaves... radiation from mobile phones... and while these play a part, they are quite friendly compared to eating food which just is plain and simple incompatible with the body we have.

Of course its just 'theoretical' as doctors and a medical industry push paper around wondering how they are going to get out of the way of societies gunfire for shoving the food pyramid down our innocent minds at childhood putting meat right up there once the critical mass is reached and the majority of humans go "what the fuck? why did you lie to us?".

The Food Pyramid of LIES

Well, thats not too hard to answer. Its about money, greed and disconnection from the land. Looking further into it, its about everything.... peoples lack of love and connection to the spirit in all things. But I digress...

A few generations ago, humans went industrial crazy and made a big leap away from natural living. They started to do some very unearthly like things... such as bringing minerals up from deep below the earth that probably should have never been touched... minerals that are like the earths bones that have been formed over billions of years. In doing this, they started to be able to create hardcore machines that could take our way of life to a whole new level of destruction and creation. For example, they decided they could plant the same crop on the same field over and over again which until recently was an impossible thing. Native people of the land know that you must rotate a crop and return things to the soil that have been depleted in an organic and holistic way otherwise the earth would say "no more fruit for you". But in this new era of advanced stupidity, if the crop stopped responding due the land being completely raped of resources, what did they do? They brought in these new beefed up fertilizers that we made from crushing up Cow bones combined with synthesised chemicals. That seems harmless, they thought.

Adding 10 years of this process and oh dear, the fertilizers aren't working so well anymore. What did we do!? Like the geniuses we believe we are we formulated even stronger new genetic chemical to add to the mix... SUPER FERTILIZER!! Forget rewinding the clock and considering we were heading in the wrong direction... there is money to be made. So they kept going... Meanwhile the belly got hungrier and the ease of manipulating and slicing up animals to arrive in neat little packages increased.

With the increase in appetite came the increase in need to get bigger and faster yields from crops. The food being grown by these super chemical fertilizers started to go straight to the cows. All heil supreme human intelligence. And here lies the beginning of an alien like mutation of disease...

The cows are eating chemically grown grains. But strangely, cows don't eat grains. Did you know that? I told a couple of guys that cows don't eat grains and they didn't know, so maybe you don't know that. Maybe you don't know that you're eating animals that live lives forced to eat food they are not supposed to eat. Cows eat grass. Just like humans are supposed to eat fruit and vegetable. So you can see how that illusory way of diet has transferred up the food chain. Many humans think they are supposed to eat meat just like they think cows are supposed to eat grains. Wrong. So the cows got sick. Just like the humans did. Who cares? We have just invented a new formula to add to the cow feed on top of the already chemicalised grains... Steroids... Drugs... x 100. Ahhhh... there we go. See, the cows are still alive and its aalllllll good. Meanwhile the humans pumped up on similar drugs.

Do this pattern over 50 years and what do you have? Simply, you have diseases that doctors don't even understand now. You have a strain of virus that has mutated and mutated so many times building better and better resistances to our antibiotics that they have virtually taken on an intelligence and life of their own. They are so powerful that they don't even die under fire. They are viruses that exist in the body which basically exist under the radar of the human immune system.... which means your body doesn't even know they are there and attempt to eradicate them.

Not only this, they are verily indestructible. Think about the plague... smallpox... how bad they were. Smalltime diseases to us now that wiped out half the planet. All of those diseases which humanity lived in fear of used to die simply under a blue flame. Boiling water. Zip. Gone. Well the little critters that have been brewing in the livestock sheds can withstand temperatures beyond what can be created in most labs. What is about to emerge from the farms is stuff that will make Aids look like the common cold people.

The karmic crisis

See, karma is real ladies in gentlemen. It doesn't just apply in the areas you decide it works in. Energy is energy. It works on every level of reality. Put an animal species in a cage for eons and eons and you can't get away with it. Life finds a way to return the favour. All of a sudden we have a massive biological crisis on our hands where potentially a huge portion of humans are going to feel just like the animals being tortured and used as products feel: controlled, helpless and innevitably going to enjoy a painful and horrific death.

Chomp chomp. Please sir, can I have some more?

Its time to do something to reverse this...

Firstly, stop eating meat. You're health will shoot through the roof despite the dogmatic religious like claims that you need meat to survive.

Secondly, start helping causes that are going to reverse the environmental impact. Sure, we might not survive the chaos around the corner thanks to the damage we've created... but at least we can try and not send earth into the same burning fate that Venus is in. Potentially, if we don't undo this damage, thats all folks.

Check out the initiative I am working on called Save the Cows. Simply, when you start to save the cows, you save your health, you save animals from being tortured and you are saving the earth.
